Cars For Sale

The Cars For Sale page is provided free of charge as a service to individuals within the TR7 & TR8 enthusiast community.  You do not need to be a member to place an ad, however ads are limited to individuals only. TWOA is not responsible for the content or accuracy of listings posted, therefore as always, buyer beware.  To place an advertisement send an email to the webmaster at AdRequest@triumphwedgeowners.org with the vehicle information, to include Commission Number/VIN, Build Date, Paint and Trim Codes (see Vehicle Data Plate for info location), and photos.  Vehicle Data Plate info is required for the ad to be posted, and will only be included in the ad if requested by the seller.  Vehicle Data Plate info is used to keep the Club’s list of ‘still on the road’ vehicles up-to-date.

Ads will be posted for 60 days, and can always be renewed after expiration.

IMPORTANT: By placing an advertisement, you attest that you created the image(s) that accompany your ad. TWOA may, at its sole discretion, and without any prior notification, remove any advertisement for any reason.

  • Does the Commission Number/VIN and other codes ‘match’ the vehicle – Decoding the Commission Number/VIN and other codes/serial numbers can help to show if the vehicle is as it left the factory.  See Deciphering the Wedge for help on locating and interpreting these details.
  • Never wire funds (e.g. Western Union) – Anyone who asks you to is a scammer.
  • Don’t accept cashier/certified checks or money orders – Banks cash fakes, then hold you responsible.
  • Transactions are between users only – No third party provides a “guarantee”.
  • Never give out financial info – Bank account, Social Security Number, PayPal account, etc..
  • Do not purchase sight-unseen – That amazing “deal” may not exist.

1978 British racing green Triumph TR7 project car. Here is the chance to purchase a running, shifting, stopping Triumph TR7. Original 4-cylinder engine with 5-speed in good working order has about 95,0000 miles. The driver’s seat frame is damaged and the seats / headrest, sun visors will need work. The previous owner installed header and straight exhaust so the car is a bit loud. We have installed many new parts, electric fan assy, tie rod ends, new sensors, new brakes and master cylinder, new clutch assembly, new clutch slave cylinder and many other parts. Minimal rust on car with a good underbody. Need the storage room so this car must go. Car is located in SE Michigan. Can deliver within 100 miles of 48076 for free with cash sale at the asking price.
